YU & Associates, Inc. (YU) provided site/civil and geotechnical engineering design services for the construction of an all-purpose addition to the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, New Jersey. Proposed construction consisted of a one-story, approximately 5,000 sf addition to an existing building.
The site engineering included the preparation of site plans, grading and drainage plans, soil erosion plans, utility plans and the design of storm water management. The geotechnical services included borings, boring inspection, a subsurface survey and preparation of a foundation recommendation report.
