For over 25 years, Ms. Martinez has worked on a wide range of geotechnical engineering design, construction, and rehabilitation projects. Her expertise includes design of shallow and deep foundations, ground improvement, deep excavations, groundwater studies and flood mitigation. Her projects include commercial and residential development, schools, transportation facilities, green infrastructure, and public utilities.

Ms. Martinez supervises design and construction phase work including preparation of geotechnical baseline reports, construction specifications, contract documents, as well as on-site investigations and construction inspection. She provides effective communication and project management to serve a diverse client base including public agencies, architect/ engineering firms, commercial and residential developers, public utilities, and contractors.

Ms. Martinez is adept at performing forensic studies, investigating, and defining the underlying causes of observed damage in existing structures, and developing creative solutions to complex geotechnical problems. She has provided expert testimony and litigation support in resolving changed condition claims and construction disputes.
